I'm not gonna lie...

I love Vegas.  Today Addison went to a birthday party for a little boy in our ward.  They had a bounce castle outside and the kids played out there all afternoon. I was running around in a t-shirt and flip flops all day.  Need I remind you it is January?  I love winter here.

Movie Time

I wanted to take Addison to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D at the theater. We ended up being the only ones in the theater. So we took advantage and sang the songs and there was even some dancing around. Addison kept the 3D glasses on the entire time and she loved the movie.

The Strip

I swear the only time we go to the strip is when friends are in town, but it seems like we are still there quite often. We went last night and got to see some things that Addison hasn't seen before. We went to the show and aquarium at the forum shops. We also saw the Chinese exhibit at the Bellagio conservatory, but the highlight was seeing three night water shows at the Bellagio fountains. My phone was dying but I did get one photo of the evening.

Party at the Pony Farm

Our friend AJ turned three and had his party at a local pony farm.  Addison was so excited to go ride a pony.  It was a little windy, but still a pretty nice day.  Addison rode the pony like 5 or 6 times because there weren't a lot of kids at the party.  They had a petting zoo with goats, bunnies, chickens.  There were also pigs, llamas, turkeys and lots of fun critters to check out.  

 

Christmas

John had to work, but got off a couple of hours early on Christmas.  We were able to enjoy being together, and watching Addison open her gifts.  Last year she came out so excited to see her Santa gifts, he leaves them out at our house.  Well, I was expecting a repeat, but was sorely disappointed.  She asked for a red bike, but when she saw hers she insisted it was a boys bike and she wanted one with white stripes.  It took a while, but she warmed up to it and eventually was excited.  It was fun to have her be big enough to really be excited and rip those packages open.  We had a really nice morning together and then John had to head to bed.  Addison and I played with they toys and games while watching all the new movies.  I like having Christmas on Sunday so we have a little focus on the real reason for all the festivities.  I hope you all had a great day!

She is 4

Hard to believe but my baby is 4 years old.  She got some great clothes and dress ups from her grandparents.  She wanted a mermaid cake and I did my best.  She had to have her buddy Vaca with her for the candles.  That cow came from our trip to Spain when she was one, and Vaca is never far.  Love you my big girl!
